That Thing In The Sky

As I breathe the mossy air, I taste its essence through my
body.
It gives my arm ounces of strength to lift and
As I try to reach that thing in the air
I chuckled as it dances, playing catch me if you can through
the spaces between my fingers.
Finally, as I caught it in my hand, I firmly grasps its’
warmth.
The feeling of its emission of heat gives me security like a
touch of my grandchild’s hand.
Though its heat has gone quickly from my grasps, I closed my
eyes.
with a contentment from my heart and a smile on my face.
I dance with it throughout the sky.
Laughing with it, full of vigor and full of might.
But there is still something wrong in the corner of my mind.
sadness... a shroud of grief and pain.
What is this noise?! It is so loud!
But silence was felt thereafter
As I listen carefully, it gave me reassurance and confidence
That they will be okay… all right…
…thank you…
